Rooted Schools is the name Rooted School Foundation uses for its tuition-free public charter schools: Rooted School Vancouver (Vancouver, WA), C.R. Neal Academy (Columbia, SC), and Rooted Schools Cleveland (Cleveland, OH). Each school texts from its own local number, and every message begins with "Rooted Schools:".
What you will receive
- Updates about your inquiry or application: documents we need, lottery results, seat-offer deadlines, and registration steps.
- Replies from enrollment staff when you text us a question.
- Reminders for enrollment events you signed up for, and invitations to apply or to attend events such as information nights.
How to sign up for texts
1. Online interest form
At enroll.rootedschool.org/inquire, below the phone number field: Open this form

2. Application form in the family portal
After a family signs in to apply, the guardian contact step shows:

3. Event sign-up forms
When an enrollment event is open for sign-ups at enroll.rootedschool.org/events, its form shows:

4. Paper applications. The paper application has the same texting box and wording as the online application. Staff record the family's answer exactly as marked; an unmarked box means no texts.
Every texting box is unchecked until you check it. Texting is optional and is never required to inquire, apply, or enroll. We do not buy, rent, or share phone lists.

How to stop or get help
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. You will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed. Reply START to receive texts again.
